The official date for the first day of Autumn is just days away...We are all getting back into our schedules and routines...Kids back to school, on the sports fields, at the table with homework...Stews and Soups simmering on the stove....I made my first seasonal meal of Chicken Soup last night, to some's unhappiness. A fact of life... Summer is over and Autumn is on its way.
Give some thought to a nice, soft, toasty warm knitted sweater, afghan or even vest to warm the body as the cool nights asend upon us...Skeins and skeins of lovely yarn can be found at AKG. Great wools for felting mittens, hats and totes.
Barbara King, owner of Yarnwinder is retiring and closing her studio in Bedford, NH. As a direct result much of her inventory has found its way into the Green Room at AKG. At the moment, you will find a variety of Artful Yarns, Malabrigo, INOX Circs...all available under current Retail Prices. Weekly additions, thanks to Barbara, and deletions of the inventory is apparent as more customers become aware of our "Goings On"....Stop by and take advantage of the special pricing while it lasts...
